1. What we collect
When you use TradeBookNow, we collect information you give us directly:
- Account info (name, email address, password)
- Profile details (address, phone number)
- Booking information (service type, date, time, notes)
- Payment info — handled by Stripe, we never store card numbers
2. Google Sign-In
TradeBookNow offers "Continue with Google" as a sign-in option. If you choose this, we access the following data from your Google account:
- Name — to populate your TradeBookNow profile
- Email address — to create and identify your account
- Google profile picture — optionally displayed on your profile
We use this data only to create and authenticate your TradeBookNow account. We do not access any other Google account data, and we do not use Google user data for advertising, analytics resale, or any purpose beyond operating your account on this platform.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. How we use your data
- To create and manage your account
- To process your bookings and send confirmations
- To connect customers with contractors
- To send transactional emails (booking updates, receipts)
- To improve the platform
4. Who we share it with
We share your information only as needed to run the service:
- Stripe — for payment processing
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider
- Resend — for sending transactional emails
- Twilio — for sending SMS notifications
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share Google user data with any third party except as necessary to provide this service.
5. Data retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us at alexlentini70@gmail.com. Upon request, we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication provided by Supabase and Google OAuth 2.0. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
